Driving Institute Gives Safety Demonstrations at Al Noor Fair

DUBAI - The Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) participated at the Family Fun Fair organised at the Al Noor Training Centre in Al Barsha on Friday.

The event included games, stage shows, exhibition of assorted goods, amusement rides and a large food court.

The institute participated by giving safety demonstrations, like what happens when a car flips and rolls and how seatbelts save lives. Visitors to the fair and volunteers participated in the demonstrations.

“The demonstration in the 360-degree rollover of a car gives a person the experience of a real car accident and the effect the seatbelt has in preventing the passenger from crashing out of the windscreen,” said one of the volunteers.

The demonstrations left most of the onlookers speechless. An animated presentation on children’s road safety to help them understand the rules to be obeyed on the road was also made. The institute also donated an amount to the children of Al Noor.
