World Malayalee Council Cultural Night in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI - A cultural night will be held today (Friday) at the Indian Social Centre in Abu Dhabi as part of a global meeting of World Malayalee Council members.

Titled ‘Chandrolsav’, the cultural festival will feature musical programme by playback singer Jyotsna and her team. Awards will be presented to some prominent members of the Malayalee community on the day, said John Kuruvilla, general convener of the event.

The two-day global conference of Malayalee diaspora, which opened on Thursday, has drawn delegates from 17 countries across the globe. On Thursday, the convention discussed various issues pertaining to the NRI community in general and Malayalee expatriates.
