jetty areas fronting on to the beach with lifeguards on duty.
Entry fee in this park in Dubai is Dhs 2 per person and Dhs
20 per vehicle and the park is open between 8:00 am and 9:00
p.m. daily. On Mondays entry is restricted to women and children
only.
Jumeirah Beach Corniche is located just off the Beach Road,
next to the Marine Beach Club. With its shaded picnic tables,
many children's playing areas, showers and sheltered swimming
area, this would be a good choice for some one looking for parks
and gardens in Dubai. There is no entry fee or restricted hours
in this Corniche.
Mushrif Park is natural ghaf forest. This park in Dubai is home
to Bruce's Scoops Owl, Orphean Warbler, eastern Black Redstart
Blies Yellow-throated Sparrow, Hoopoe, and Ethiopian hedgehog.
Spread across 124 hectares of land this park is on the Al Awir
road, just 12 kilometers away from Dubai Airport. It is also
equipped with all modern facilities like swimming pools, fountain
and lakes, children's play areas, train, camel and pony rides.
A special feature of this park I Dubai is the International
Garden Area exhibiting miniature houses from different countries.
Entry fee to this beautiful park in Dubai is just Dhs 2 per
person or Dhs 10 per vehicle. Fees for entering the swimming
pools (separate men's and women's) is Dhs 10 per adult and Dhs
5 per child. The park remains open between 8:00 am and 10:30
p.m. on Saturday to Wednesday and to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday/Friday.
Al -Mazmar Park is one of the major sight seeing attractions
among the visitors. It features swimming pool, barbeque, kiosks,
play areas and wooden castle. The entry fee is Dhs 5 per person
or Dhs 30 per car (including occupants). For swimming pools
it is DH 10 and 5 for adults and children's respectively.
Creekside Park at Bur Dubai is one of the largest waterfront
parks in Dubai. This immensely popular park is running from
Al-Garhoud Bridge to Al-Maktium Bridge. It offers abra rides,
dhow cruises, restaurants, beaches and amphitheatres.
Another popular park in Dubai is ZA'Abeel Park. This 51 hectares
park is immensely popular among visitors, as it features lakes,
ponds, jogging track, sports facilities and clubhouse. Another
popular park of Dubai is Safa Park. This 1 km long park is
running from Al-Wasi Rd to Sheikh Zayed Rd. Major highlights
of Safa Park are playing cricket and spending some great time
on the lake. One can also hire paddleboats for exploring the
